- Refund and Security Deposit policy is viewable on our Terms and Conditions page.

- Hosts are NOT responsible for issuing full refunds, discounts, or rebookings for last minute changes within one week prior to check in. If you think you may need to cancel or rebook for any reason (weather, illness, etc), we highly encourage guests to book through Airbnb or VRBO instead and purchase travel insurance along with their reservation.

- Guest agrees to NOT host any parties or events with attendee numbers larger than the maximum of 5 guests.

- Please no smoking inside the property.

- Only flush toilet paper and natural waste. We are on a septic system, and paper towels, baby wipes, feminine products, and even flushable wipes will damage our plumbing.

- Please remove shoes inside and place on the shoe rack.

- No hunting allowed in War Eagle Cove neighborhood. This includes all surrounding forested areas. Please be respectful of local wildlife.

- Use caution when on the deck. No leaning, climbing, or sitting on the railing/steel cables. Property not recommended for toddlers or pets due to the height. Guest discretion is advised.

- No altering or disconnecting the security camera. Note: Security camera is only on the exterior of the property above the front door.

- Please respect our neighbors down the hill by adhering to our quiet hours.

- Any theft of personal property by a guest will be filed in a police report.

- Do not attempt to enter any locked storage closets.

The space
Inside the main living area Geodesic Dome:
- Bright, pristine interior with plenty of natural lighting and a giant hexagon window in the loft
- A geodesic dome ceiling with an at-home star projector that can turn the ceiling into a planetarium (perfect for cloudy days!)
- A kitchenette with an electric cook top, mini fridge, coffee nook, microwave, and other essentials
- Bathroom with a toilet, sink, shower and custom tile mosaic
- Curved staircase to an expansive loft with a queen sized bed
- Comfortable sofa that converts to another queen sized bed on the bottom floor
- High speed 5G internet

Inside the Observatory Tower:
- A completely clear polycarbonate dome ceiling for stargazing
- High powered telescopes for guests to use
- Color-changing LED lighting around the rim of the clear dome and through the hallway
- TV/media room with a Roku streaming device

Featuring outside:
- BBQ grill, a picnic table, and lounge chairs on the deck
- Year-round lake view
- Nearly a full wrap around deck
- An upper tower balcony featuring the best views of the lake and sky
Guest access
Guests can access all parts of the treehouse except for one of the utility closets under the stairs.
Additional notes
If you are hosting a larger group, please consider booking our A-frame cabin called "Lakeview Haven" in conjunction with this Planetarium Treehouse. The A-frame is located next door slightly down the street from this property, and is an easy 1 minute walk between the two properties.

Important Note: This is a very unique structure. The Observatory Tower (clear dome) is subject to more temperature changes than the rest of the home. This means it will be hotter or colder in the Observatory Tower than the rest of the home. We do have a larger mini split up in the tower to help heat/cool the area. This also helps circulate to the lower part of the tower in the TV room. Guests should be aware that the Observatory Tower’s main purpose is for stargazing and may not be your ideal temperature. The rest of the structure (main dome) is not affected by this and will be a normal comfortable temperature.

If the weather during your booked dates is not ideal for stargazing, you may enjoy using the star projector indoors instead.

I live in Bentonville, about a 45 minute drive away. I won't be there during your stay, but if there are any emergencies, I can be available within an hour.
Neighborhood overview
The Planetarium Treehouse is located in a quiet lakeside community. Down the hill there are boat docks and a kayaking or paddleboarding launch spot with free public parking. If you bring your own boat, there is a boat launch 5 minutes away at both Granny Hollow and War Eagle Marina.

Getting around
House is accessible by driving on a gravel road. Parking is right off the main road directly in front of the treehouse. There is enough space for 2 cars, or one car and a boat.
